UB Granted AUTONOMOUS STATUS by CHED |
The University of Batangas, the province’s first university, was granted AUTONOMOUS STATUS by the Commission on Higher Education effective April 15, 2010.
The University was able to accomplish with exemplary performance all requirements related to the functions of higher education, namely: instruction, research and public service. The University was granted DEREGULATED STATUS in 2009. That same year, UB also received its ISO-9001:2008 CERTIFICATION.
The Commission conferred this distinction because of the outstanding performance of UB graduates which manifested its genuine commitment to quality, excellence and global competitiveness.
