UB HIGH takes home Awards from Various Competitions |
Congratulations to the High School Faculty for the awards won in the 2009 Regional Science Quest held in Bacoor National High School (Cavite) last November 19 – 20. DR. ROGELIO D. CANUEL was adjudged CHAMPION – SCI DAMA (4th Yr. Level) for Teacher Category, while MR. MORLAN PASIA earned 3rd PLACE – SCI DAMA (2nd Yr. Level) for Teacher Category.
In another event, 2 senior HS students from the science section and one from the regular section represented the school in the RICE QUIZ BEE: A Rice Awareness Month Quiz Contest held last November 23 at the University of the Philippines, Los Banos (UPLB).
Ms. Diane Rose Piñero (IV-1 SHS); Mr. Eduard Abbagu (IV-3 SHS) and Mr. Peter Rey Tumolva (IV-Chaucer) merited 2nd place out of nineteen schools coming from Region 4-A that competed. Said event was sponsored by UP Sibol and PhilRice. |
