This academic scholarship is granted to those first year college students whose
general average in five (5) major subjects : English, Science, Social Studies, Math
and Filipino, when computed, has an average ranging from 87-89 to receive 50% discount
in tuition fee and 100% in tuition fee if the average gained is 90 and above. This
is applicable for one semester only.

Procedure:
- Present your High School card to the counselor in-charge upon enrolment.
- If qualified, expanded scholarship form will be given for completion.
- The form will be signed by the counselor in-charge and registrar.
- Signed form will be presented to the accounting office for processing.
- Copies of signed form will be given to offices concerned for filing purposes.

This scholarship program is granted to poor but deserving freshmen students who
wish to study but have financial difficulties. The program covers the entire duration
of their stay in college depending upon the course and their academic performance.

Procedure:
- Initial interview will be given to the applicant by person in-charge
- Applicant will report to the office for qualifying examination on a set date.
- Applicant will report to the President’s Office for interview.

Batanguenos USA Inc. Scholarship Fund ( BUSA) |
|
|
The Scholarship Fund was raised by the Batanguenos, USA, Inc, pursuant to Article
3 of its By- Laws which aims to provide financial assistance to talented but economically
disadvantaged college students in the province of Batangas, Philippines. |

Guidelines for the Selection of Awardees
- The candidate must be a bonafide resident of a city, town or barrio in the
province of Batangas.
- The candidate must have graduated from high school with a general average
of at least 85% or its equivalent.
- The candidate must belong to a family where one or both parents have no fixed income
or any taxable real property except the single family dwelling.
4. Candidate must pass the qualifying examination given.
The candidate who has been awarded the scholarship must maintain an average of 85%
or its equivalent to continue receiving the scholarship award until graduation or
completion of his/her college program. |

DEAN'S LIST
|
|
|
The program is designed to help students achieve the highest possible level of knowledge
and training and to form a nucleus of productive graduates and future leaders. It
aims to motivate students to excel in their academic work via an honors program.
It can also be a means of improving and of enabling them to compete with graduates
of other schools in seeking employment. |
|
|
Guidelines for selection:
- The student should have an average rating of at least 2.0 without any failing grade
( PE and ROTC not included in computation)
- The student should carry the regular semestral load as indicated in the curriculum,
and the minimum load to qualify in the program should be verified thru the Registrar’s
Office or the College Dean or Department Director.
- Regardless of year level, the listing shall be from the highest to lowest and ranking
shall prevail in the grant of scholarship.
- A scholarship, full or partial for one semester shall be in accordance with enrolment
size.
- A student who qualifies for the scholarship grant shall be given refund of the amount
paid on tuition fees only.
A student who qualifies academically but is found to have violated any school’s
rules and regulations shall not be nominated for the Dean’s List.

This scholarship program is granted to students whose parents or relatives are graduates
of the University. Full tuition fee is awarded to them until completion of studies.

Criteria:
- The applicant must be a bonafide student of UB.
- The general average in high school card must not be lower than 85%.
- The applicant must pass the interview of the person in-charge.

- Must submit an application letter addressed to the president of the alumni association.
- Photocopy of high school card.

PGMA – HELP is a CHED sponsored program whose aim is to broaden the access of the
poor but bright Filipino students to qualify higher education thru scholarship grants
and loans. |

Requirements:
- Duly accomplished application form
- 3 pcs. 1x1 ID pictures
- Two (2) photocopies of ITR or affidavit of certification
of exemption for not filing
- Two (2) photocopies of SSS or GSIS ID card of guarantor

Criteria:
- Borrower should be presently enrolled as a 3rd, 4th,
or 5th year student
- He/she possess a general average of 2.5 during the previous
semester
- He/she is not a beneficiary of a full scholarship
granted by a third parties.
- The combined annual income of parents should not exceed
P 200,000.00through scholarship
