About The College
The College of Tourism and Hospitality Management of University of Batangas has been the fastest growing Hospitality School in Region IV. Graduates of UBCTHM has been absorbed by companies in the country and abroad for its outstanding reputation, impressive faculty, rich curriculum, and fast-track career advantages in the international hotel, foodservice and tourism industries. Our faculty members combine strong academic credentials with excellent teaching skills and extensive executive-level industry experience. Moreover, faculty members are all National Certificate Holders of seven qualifications in Tourism Sectors.
The College of Tourism and Hospitality Management offers Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management (Ladderrized Program), Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management, and Bachelor of Science in Travel Management that combine practical experience with classroom theory to assist the students to gain the understanding, skills, and techniques needed to qualify for job opportunities, and to achieve his or her career goals in the hospitality/tourism industry.
With the cooperation of industry executives, the college has created a practicum program which literally utilizes the hotels, resorts, restaurants, airlines, travel agencies, and cruise lines as practice labs for students locally and internationally. The advanced phase of the practicum program provides each student a structured training experience normally not available to a student until he or she has entered the industry after graduation.
